I use the Tiffany foil method in most of my stained glass artworks. The Tiffany foil method is a technique used in the creation of stained glass art. This method is named after the famous glassmaker Louis Comfort Tiffany, who popularized it in the late 19th century. It's a technique used to assemble pieces of glass by wrapping the edges of each individual piece with copper foil before soldering them together.

The eyes and black face area are hand painted with black enamel on both sides. A black patina has been applied through the body with a subtle copper patina on the beak.
